An enduring expression of Italian craftsmanship, woven leather is one of the most intricate techniques in traditional leather-working.

Every woven panel begins long before a bag takes shape, requiring patience, precision and the skilled hands of artisans who have spent generations perfecting their craft.

Each piece begins with carefully selected Italian calf leather, which is precision-cut into fine strips before each one is individually prepared by hand.

Skilled artisans then meticulously interlace every strip to create the woven panel, a process that remains largely impossible to replicate by machine. Once complete, the weave is carefully stabilised before being transformed into the finished silhouette, preserving a craft that has been passed down through generations.

“Growing up with Italian grandparents, I was surrounded by family who took enormous pride in making things well.

It taught me that the most beautiful things are rarely rushed. Woven leather felt like the perfect expression of that philosophy.”
